Today was a rather diffrent day.
Woke up at about 5am to know that afternoon study session is canceled due to some stupid reason. ZZzz. Anyway, I washed up and walked to the bus stop to take a bus to TP. It was raining and it was quite cold. oh well. Took bus 23 to TP and it took about 30mins. Quite a fast trip I must say, but then again, it's in the wee hours of a Sunday morning. After I alight, spotted that there are alot of cars queueing up at the TP entrance to enter. Well, after crossing the road, saw a large number of US Navy personnel taking part in the run too.

I followed them over to the stadium and from there, registered using my lucky draw coupon.
Met up with Cheong and his army friend. They are running the 10km while I was only running the 5km "fun" run. Well, we deposited our bag in a chaotic environment. Atlas, we put our bag in the VGO truck. I sat on the bench at the side and waited for the 10km competition.
I was flagged off at about 0745. We ran and it started to bottle neck till a walking speed at the cross over from the TP side to the Bedok Reservoir side. After that, we ran on gravel which has alot of pot holes in it. Due to the rain earlier on, the condition was made worst. Everyone was like trying to avoid the paddles of water and running continuously was quite difficult. In the end, I ran along the side of the gravel road where it's most of the time dryer then the main gravel road. I continued to run and there were quite alot of people along the way who started to walk, causing a blockage at certain parts of the gravel road. After awhile of running, I catched up with the 10km runners! YEA! MAybe my stamina has increased? hha!
Anyway, as I was approaching the end point, I can see alot of people started to sprint. After I crossed the big arch Mizuno ballon, my timing was 27mins35sec. Well, this is the best part, the marshals there keep shouting wrong way and directed some people to run the other way. And I stupidly followed their instruction!
This is going to be interesting, I continued my timing and ran, thinking that it was about to end for the 5km. I ran, and ran, and ran and the end doesn't seem to get into my sight! As I looked around as I ran, I reliase that there aren't many blue tag people left! Only at this moment that I reliase that I was running the 10km route! hah! No wonder it seem so long, my timing was about 45mins when I reliase that I ran the 10km route! haha! HEck it, I continued to run, too lazy to walk back to the ending point at the back. Want to challenge myself. As I ran, I spotted Ruth, my PF sub-theme friend. WE ran pace each other all the way to the end, and chatted awhile too. As we got close to the finishing line, AGAIN, I reliased that she was runing faster. And so I followed suit! haha! Finally compeleted the freaking "fun" run!
hah! MY timing for 10km is 1hr and 3mins! YEA! Not bad considering that I've never trained for a 10km run before and it was my first time. Well, it was a damn tiring race I must say. I could feel my legs weaking at the end of the run. I met up with Cheong and his friend and took our bags from the collection point. I must say, that there was no order at all at the bag collection point and anyone could just take the bag they want to take! THERE WAS NO SECURITY OF THE POSSESSION! Luckily I found my bag. I didn't look expensive and guess no one took mine by mistake! hah!
We then proceded to queue for the "goodie bag"! haha. IT was a freaking long queue! All the way to the Canal. And we queued for like 1hr just to get the goodie bag. When it was my turn, the lady told me that they ran out of M and L size for the singlet and gave me a size S. HAHA! They think I look nice in it? haha! At least I can fit in it though. haha. Went home on the BUs and slept all the way home.
Bottom line, don't join any Mizuno run the next time cause it is really badly organised.
After I bathed, tried to comtact my studying friends and reliase that she has just woke up! Where got someone sleep till noon one? haha!
Anyway, end up studying at home.
Went Billy bombers with my family to eat later that evening.
Hope tomorrow I can wake up in time for my check up.
God Speed.

Whoa, today must be a tough day. Lessons ended like 11.30am when we complete our CSW.
Went eating and collected my MRP rabbit skull after lunch. The lab tech said that due to the FDM machine, the base broke off from the skull. But that's a easy problem to solve and we quickly used a industrial glue to glue it together. After that, we wrote down our group member's name and submitted it to our lecturer.
AFter that, went off to Pioneer SEc for my weekly dose of UG activity. Today had basic fire fighting course for my cadets and station 14 was called down to assist us. I had gone through the theory part of the fire extinguisher and hose reel drill with them just the previous week. Today, they learnt how to use the extinguisher and how to operate the fire hose. Although it had rained abit, they managed to do the practical part in the end as the rain stopped shortly after. From their feedback, them all seem to be very interested with fire extinguisher and it seem very cool to all of them.
Well, it seemed all well for them as they are rather practical people.
After the test, dismissed them at about 6pm and went home. It seemed good over all, except the last part where they had to march back to the room to get their bag, they were practically "shit" as they had described for themselves. Well, besides some moaning and groaning from them, they were all ok. Well, tomorrow they'll be having a combined training with the rest of the UGs in school for their NDP parade in school, this year the parade is planned and executed by NCC. Hope they can live up to uphold their good image and prove others wrong.

It's time of the sem again for exams, this time thou, I MUST GET HIGH GPA! If not, my chances of going to the U seems slim. But then again, I can go to overseas U, but my chances of signing on and taking the scholarship is slim then. Well, I must study and stop all my other interferences.
This coming SAt is the Mizuno Wave run and I hope I can do it in record time.
God Speed.

Tomorrow's Poly50 and I think I'm feeling abit down. Seems like my team does not have any one from SPARC and then all the people I dun know. Wah, dunno if can run well tomorrow or not, short distances of 200m, sure, my long distance is good, but my short distances sucks big time.
Well, let's hope tomorrow is blessed with a good day and I have enough rest today.
God Speed.

WAh, today woke up at about 8.15am and prepared to go to Ubin with the year 1s. Packed my bag and quickly went out of the house to meet Li Ying at Kallang. Meet her like 0947, 2 mins late. Anyway, we took a MRT down to Tanah Merah and waited there for 15mins for any others who want to come along with us to Ubin. We waited for 15 mins and no one came. So disappointing. Spent my many nights to type an email and send to year 1 and 2s to invite them to come and cycle together in Ubin, yet, no one came. real disappointing, heszzz.
In the end, Li Ying and I took the bus to Changi Village where we had our early lunch before setting off to Ubin. Over at Ubin, we went over to the shop that I often frequent to rent bike when I'm in Ubin. We rented two Raleigh m2o bikes at the price of $10. Really reasonable, considerding we are going to trash the bike in Ubin. We then proceeded firstly to the German Girl's Shrine. We cycled there without looking at the map although we had the maps in our hand. haha! The route there was road followed by gravel road. At the Gravel road we really paddled hard as there was a step slope and I can see that Li Ying can't cycle on not tarred road, even the slopes in Ubin on tarred road may be too tough for her! hahaha!
Well, we went to many others places on the Island. Think we really explored the whole island. Very fun, think this is the only time that I really went to the whole island, the rest of the time, went cycling with my other friends who all can't cycle as well. Must give credit to Li Ying to be as crazy as me to chiong all the off road, steep slopes and other dunno wad terrain! haha!
At last, we went home after waiting for the rain to stop at about 5pm. Really nice trip.
Maybe next time, I go ubin, cannot call SPARC people go. Must call ym classmates along, ther're more pro outdoor activites. haha.
I don't even know if I organise another Kayaking trip, if any one will even turn up! haha!
Here's some pics of the Boar we took pic.

Yea! Sunday completed the 4km route in 29.30 mins! IT was very enjoyable and it felt very fast! The timing was so slow due to the walking start as the people there were all walking instead of running! IT was only until riverwalk where we really started to run! haha! Did it with Yong Hong, Izzat, Derek, his GF, his friend, Li Ying, Ferlicia and Kai Tian.
We met at Clarke Quay MRT station which is the wrong station and walked the whole entire strech of Singapore River to find Zouk! I had mistaken MOS for Zouk !AH! Then we went over to zouk and Li ying was not there yet. I SMSed her not to go to Clarke Quay but she still did! In the end she had to take a bus to Outram Park before taking a bus to Grand Copthorne Hotel. haha! Must really say sorry to those whom I've misled!
Was running at the first with Izzat, as he was running infront of me, I was thinking that he had good stamina. As I carried on running, I lost him. Maybe I was slower then him? haha! Anyway, YH seem to have caught up with me, or is it the other way round? haha! We ran until about after turning the corner of the bridge and past riverwalk before loosing him. From then on, I was on myself. Running all the way to the finishing line without walking. Well, this was a good timing considering that I even had walked! haha! Anyway, the rest came out after me as I reliase. ahaha! MAybe they were slower then me. Saw Tiffany came in which was followed by the year 1s. Sad to say, the year 1s did not really run. They walked. Well, maybe they did not have the stamina yet. At the end while queuing to get back our bags, saw my cadets. Think that the whole Pioneer Sec came to run. I even saw Mr Nathan! haha! The fat joker! hehe.
Went to Vivo after that hoping to use the Adidas voucher but to no avail. In the end, I registered for the Mizuno Wave run. YEa! NExt run! I'll be in the fun run, it's 5km and may prove to be a challenge to me as the run is on uneven ground, so maybe for this race I'll need to use my trail running shoes instead of my usual runners.
