Ah, finally camp have all been completed.

It was only like last week that I had looked forward to all the camps! It all started last Saturday with NCDCC combine camp of Pioneer Secondary School and Westspring Secondary School. I met up with Raymond at 0735 at Boon lay in no.4 and promptly made our way towards my school. Was there at about 0745 and saw all my cadets there slacking in no.4. I made them to fall in and did uniform inspection for them. As this is their first time wearing No.4, I did not punish them like there is no tomorrow. Well, made them do some punishment before boarding the bus with all the tentage. Arrived over at westspring Secondary school at about 0910. Put down our stuff and went over to change to PT kit. The toliets there were very HUGE! Really! Very well cleaned too.

For the first day, we did drills, rope work, introductino to filed cooking and other activites like team bonding. Very interesting. Then at night, we broke them off for sleeping. For us officers, we slept in the teacher's staff lounge. It was another enormous place. We had aircon to sleep in, TV to watch, Pool to play, lots of food to eat (Courtesy of my OC) and most of all, an enjoyable night.

The next day, I went off in the early morning for NTU's Adventure Trail Challenge. Met up with Yong Hong, Terrence and Evangeline at Pasir Ris MRT and registered ourselves at the booth. To my surprise, Northface was one of the sponsors too! hha! We flaged off at 1200 and really had a good run. MY team took like 4h13mins to complete about 30KM of run, kayak, biking, abseiling, tunneling and other activites and came in 7th out of 16 teams. IT was very tiring after we ended. IT was nearly 6pm and we had our dinner at Macdonalds. IT was a very wonderful experience. Maybe next time I should join again. WEnt pass lots of very scenic places where I can see the sky line of Ponggol and other places. real nice trip, but tiring.


I then quickly went home to change for campfire. Went back down to Westspring at about 7+pm and the campfire had just started. The GOH for that night was Westspring's VP and we really had sang much songs. CLTs present were Caromes, Natasha, Vanga, Leo. They really helped me alot when I'm not present at the camp with the morning Campcraft test and later in the evening campfire preparation. Officers present were LTA Teo, LTA Qing Fei, A/CPT Chan and A/CPT Chua. They also helped me to look after the cadets when they are taking the theory campcraft test. Really big thanks to them.
Although the campfire only lasted like 1h30mins, it was not bad considering that they have just learned how to sing the campfire songs yesterday and manage to bond together so fast!
At night was tekan session as all of the cadets were restless and LTA Teo made them pitch tent in the middle of the night.Well, after some time, they were ushered back to sleep. That night, I was totally shag due to the ATC earlier in the day.

The next day, we cleaned up all the tents and stuff and packed up with a debriefing. All the cadets exchanged numbers and really kept with each other. Really nice to see them bonding so well with each other after the camp, made me feel like I did them some good. haha.

After that, I rushed straight down to SP to meet YH, SH and Jeremyto make our way down to TP. IT was for PF.

Wehn we got down to PF, it was like still early and I saw SCLT Affan there. Think he is a ambassador over at TP. haha! I changed from No.4 to half u later and put my uniform in Matthew's car.

After lunch, it was time for us 4 to take over the show and play games. My Sub-theme incharge was 3 and Tiffany was in it! hha! damn funny. The rest of the guys made me go with sub-theme 3. They also anyhow only. haha. Anyway, I played the holding hand game where the sub-theme ran and interacted with each other. The game was with forfeet and I volunteered myself for the first one where two indian girls dance around me! haha! LAter as they ran, we played along and cheered them on. As I see the group getting tired of the game, I changed it over to the fruity game where they need to remember all the previous names of the people! haha! IT was rather fun too as they had to say an animal with their own name. ALthough the time went up pretty fast, they did had quite a fun time! haha! After the games, my sub-theme proceeded over to LT40 for their discussion. I also distributed lollipops to them as a form of reward. We waited until about until 5 pm before we could go home as we needed to act the whole show out.

Matthew gave me a lift to Tampines MRT and I went home from there. I then quickly changed my equipments in my bag and headed over to School for SPARC CAMP!
